#ReaderWrites - 5 by Resmi Ravindran
Things I see every day - is a writeup by Resmi about her simple observations of her everyday commute to work in Canada
Hi all,
Hope you’re all doing well.
Welcome to the fifth issue of the #READERWRITES post on the newsletter, wherein a guest writer helms the newsletter issue with their anecdotes, life stories or their learnings from life.
Today’s post is by Resmi R and she talks about the usual sightings during her commute to work. It’s simple, visually understanding and captivating.
Things I see every day:
Bus drivers who talk in sign language when they cross each other’s paths,
Hustlers,
People waiting for their bus at the bus stand,
Bits of snow here and there,
Garbage bags tightly sealed and put out for pick up,
Beanie heads, hoodies, gloves and winter boots,
Dried but beautiful tall trees,
Lots of cars of different colours and sizes,
More hustlers,
Daily walkers with long jackets and puffed coats,
Pets and their leash,
Making those weird faces looking at the cute little kids on the bus,
Cold hands, cigarettes and smoke,
Green, orange and red lights,
All heads on the bus looking down - either they are staring at their phones or sleeping,
Lots of wheelchairs and old people,
Mommy, toddlers and their chairs,
The ting sound in the bus at every stop,
Hands holding Tim Horton’s cups,
Cloudy, clear, sunny, foggy skies,
All in a day and
Every day!
So, did you like it? I hope you did.
